Gay teen who posted online support video takes own life

A young gay filmmaker took his own life this month, just weeks after creating an online video encouraging other gay teenagers. 19-year-old Californian EricJames Borges killed himself after posting the video to It Gets Better, a project designed to give hope to lesbian, gay, and bisexual youth.

Boy on PSP falls onto subway tracks

A 10-year-old boy is lucky to be alive after his love for video games nearly turned deadly in Italy.

The boy was walking along a subway platform and was so absorbed by his Play Station Portable that he didn't see where he was going - and fell off the platform and onto the tracks below.

Fortunately for the kid, there were no trains entering the station at that moment. Fortunately for us, the incident was captured on a security camera video you can watch below.

Student death raises cyber-bullying issue

Tyler Clementi's suicide once again raises the spectre of cyber-bullying among students. This week, students at Rutgers University came out in mass protest at the death of the 18 year-old gay man. He jumped from the George Washington bridge earlier this month, after he found out that his room mate had been broadcasting private images of him online.
