Texting driver slams convertible into manure

If you needed to hear another reason why texting and driving is bad, look no further than this news story from Wisconsin.

Police say a distracted driver smashed his car into a farm tractor carrying manure.

Local TV station KCCI reports that the man, who rented a brand-new 2014 Ford Mustang, was talking on the phone and texting behind the wheel.

Oh, and it was a rental car.

He reportedly looked up “just in time to see the tractor seconds before the crash.”

Not only did the driver total the 2014 sports car (it was THAT new), he also broke his finger. Good luck texting and driving now...
