App calls out bad parking for all to see

Parking_doucheAre you sick of those smug guys with flashy BMWs, who park their cars diagonally across two spots? Or the fellow with the Land Rover who parks on the curb, because he can?

We’ve all seen awful parking jobs and stared helplessly at their disgraceful automotive habits. But some folks have decided to call out the bad parkers.

An online news group in Russia has created an app to call out the most hideous parkers around.

The Village is using its new app – Parking Douche – to call out bad parking jobs for all to see.

I don’t exactly speak Russian, but Mashable has translated the gist of what happens.

Users enter in the make and model of the offending vehicles, along with photographic proof of the hideous parking job.

The pictures and accompanying info then appears as an ad on the Village website – or displayed to mobile users close to the offending vehicle (based on phone location).

But that’s not enough – they really want to call out the parking douches with this app. Mobile users won’t be able to finish reading an article until they re-post an image of the offending vehicle on their Facebook page.

Have you ever wanted to call out an offending parking job? What did you do?

Would you use this app?
