Unbaby.me replaces baby pictures on Facebook
What exactly will it replace the photos with? Pictures of cats and whatever else it thinks is “awesome stuff.”
Why would you want to block out your friends’ baby pictures?
They’re cute and wonderful, but sometimes the baby photo posting can get excessive and sickening. For many younger users on Facebook, they’ve gone from posting photos of themselves chugging kegs to posting pictures of their kids sucking on milk bottles.
It’s not just cat photos that it will show instead. Users have the option to select any custom image-based RSS feed.
According to one of the founders, a web browser extension for Chrome was the “perfect” solution to block out baby photos.
“We just wanted to bring the obvious baby problem to light,” Chris Baker told Mashable.
This plugin is similar to the Justin Bieber and Nickleback blockers, which had their time and place.
